Self-funding and private medical insurance
We welcome both self-funding and patients who have private medical insurance. Self-funding patients do not require a GP referral. Patients using medical insurance will often require a GP referral, which we are happy to provide either in clinic or via our online doctors.
We’re all accredited with all major private insurance providers. Please check specific details in your insurance policy. Learn more about how to use private medical insurance here.
What will happen during my physio session?
Your physiotherapist will assess your condition during your initial consultation to help find the source of the problem and provide a diagnosis. They’ll then create a tailor-made treatment plan that can involve manual therapy, exercises, soft-tissue massage, biomechanics and more.
During follow-up consultations, your physiotherapist will check in to ensure you are progressing well with your treatment plan. While everyone is different and the number of sessions required to get you back to your best will vary depending on the type or severity of your condition, the overall aim is to focus on mobility and improving movement. You can choose to have your sessions face-to-face, virtually or a combination.
